Fragmentary Chronicles is an experimental video by glass artist Chris Bird-Jones & filmmaker Karen Heald (2012), which was created as a response to the ‘In-between-ness’ project. It was screened inside the fuselage of a DC-9 airplane that had been converted into a mobile art space, social sculpture and travelling time capsule. LOCWS International and Adain Avion presented Fragmentary Chronicles at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea, Wales, between 24th June – 1stJuly 2012. The film screening was part of the UK-wide London 2012 Festival and Wales’ major contribution to the Cultural Olympiad.
